Roger Courtenay has spent a lifetime shaping the landscapes where history, culture, and community meet. As a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects and a former Principal at global design firms, he has led the creation of some of the most meaningful public spaces in North America, from the National Mall to the World Trade Center Memorial.
His work reflects a deep understanding of how people connect with place, informed by decades of global travel and hands-on exploration of landscapes across 35 countries. Today, he brings that same passion closer to home, restoring and rewilding his family farm in Virginia, continuing his lifelong commitment to the land, both designed and wild.
